Quote addiction

"A fine quotation is a diamond in the hand of a man of wit and a pebble in the hand of a fool." - Joseph Roux

Guys, I have an addiction.  Don't worry it's not too serious.  It isn't a drug, or a drink, or even a woman of the night time.  But it's an addiction none the less.

I have a quote problem.

It started innocently enough.  I was looking for ways to add a bit of padding to my smaller blog posts so they didn't look so bloody short.

But it's started to take over my blogging.  Now instead of writing a post, and then looking for quotes to underline my point, I'm starting to look for quotes to act as fuel for my writing.

There is a nice side benefit.  My quote addiction is prompting all sorts of research into people who I might never have taken the time to learn about previously.  Actually reading the writings of Karl Marx or David Ricardo was never one of my goals for my blog post a day challenge.  But it has been highly entertaining and enlightening!
